Slope stabilization
In a slope failure, the shear strength of the soil is exceeded, causing the slope to slide and push out. Typically, this occurs along what is known as a slip circle. To stabilize the slope and increase the shear strength of the soil, topotubes can be used.
Longitudinal stability: The property of the cohesive structural element "tube" enables greatly improved absorption of locally acting horizontal forces.
Abutment: The geotextile tubes can be installed as abutments at the base of the embankment, interrupting the momentum course and thus pass on the compressive forces to the subsoil in a targeted manner.
